Dragons den review season 8 episode 11 the second chance
In this episode of Dragons den Canada the rejected contestants from previous seasons returned to get a second chance to make their business ideas a reality ,although they needed to get the approval of at least one of the five dragons first. The dragons for this season were Bruce Croxon an internet mogul, Arlene Dickinson a marketing maven, Jim Treliving a franchise baron, Kevin O’leary ann investment guru and David Chilton a publishing powerhouse.
The first entrepreneur that appeared in the episode was Elvis Presley (not the hawaiian musician) his business portfolio included chocolates, music and paintings (all done by him with collaboration of his wife). He appeared very theatrical, dressed up as the real Elvis would, although he used many native american accents in his outfit. Elvis asked for 82,000 dollars in exchange for 50 percent of the copyrights of his songs also the dragons were able to make offers to endorse any other of his products they were attracted to.The dragons made some comments in relation to his mental health. The first time he was rejected was because of his unpredictable behaviour. However this time he seemed more stable, even though he still was rejected for not having a concrete business model.
The second entrepreneur was Nasser Pooli who used to be a plumber. The first time he appeared in the show he asked for 1 million dollars in exchange for assets in his idea of a attachable toilet kit that sprinkles water as a replacement for toilet paper ,although the dragons seemed interested the idea was criticised for not being able to sprinkle hot water. In his second chance he fixed the water temperature problem by attaching a second hose that connected to the sink for hot water. This time he asked for half a million in exchange of a 20 percent in his company, the dragons rejected Mr.Pooli because of his troublesome finance decisions where he spended around 2.4 million dollars in the development of a product that he sells for 200 dollars a piece.
The next entrepreneur that appeared was Mr.Oswaldo Koch a fitness trainer, dancer, and a engineer, with a master's degree in business. The first time he presented his business idea to the dragons he was rejected for overvalue his product of a dance based exercise equipment and DVD. This time he asked for half a million for 30 percent of his company. He’s sales the year prior to appearing in the show for second time was of 200 thousand dollars on his own. The unit cost of his product is of 30 dollars, his revenue for each unit is of 100 dollars making his profit 70 dollars for each unit sold. He made a million dollars selling 15 thousand units in the five years between his first and second appearance in the dragon's den. This time 2 of the dragons offered Mr.Koch 5 hundred thousand dollars for 100 percent of his company and 5 percent in royalties, which he accepted.
The fourth entrepreneur that presented her business idea to the dragons was Kim Wright. Her business idea changed from martini on heels a company with attractive female mixologists serving martinis from when she first appeared to martini’s on wheels were the attractive woman were replaced by attractive male mixologists serving the martinis. The dragons seemed troubled with Mrs. Wright about how the people could relate her company name to the serious issues of driving under the influence making it a flawed name, she being unprepared when demanding a do over in her pitch, taking her martini away for drinking too much, her business idea being changed slightly from last time and the fact that her product had an unpleasant taste. The second time Kim asked for 100 thousand in exchange of 25 percent of her company. Her company charged 200 dollars an hour for hiring one of her male mixologists, the service included the glassware and bar, although it didn’t included the alcohol. The dragons refused her because she asked too much capital from the dragons in addition to having some troublesome financial decisions.
The last entrepreneurs that appeared in the show were the brothers Lawrence and Chris Warwaruk. The first time they proposed a business idea which implied a card for buying things, the second time they proposed a craft beer made in their farm. They asked the dragons for 200 thousand dollars for 20 percent of their company Farmery estate brewery. The money given the dragons if they invested in the company would be going to the building of a destination brewery in their farm in Winnipeg in addition the approximate cost of the building would be of 1 and a half million dollars. Their first few month sales were of a 150 thousand dollars, they projected 1.5 million in sales. 2 of the dragons accepted the deal in addition with a 6 percent royalty.
In a summary two out of five contestants had proposals which the dragon's considered buyable. The first contestant, Elvis, was incredibly unpredictable; Pooli had some troublesome finances; Koch overvalued his product at first ,although a proposal made by the dragons established an agreement between them; Ms.Wright had a great number of flaws as seen on her finances, Business plan , and overall presentation; The Warwaruk brothers seemed to have the most reasonable business model of all making them come to an agreement with the dragons.

suicide at twilight
As the night reached twilight the detective questioned his actions on the the event that had just taken place. He heard his watch ticking as he stared at the pale blue eyes of the stranger as if they were trying to tell him something, but dead men tell no tales. He took one last look at those eyes before closing them and picking up the body of his fresh victim. The detective had felt goosebumps on his way to dispose of the body in a lake near his house. Once inside his home he went up the stairs into the bathroom to clean his hands. There he stared at his reflection in the mirror, when out of nowhere the house goes dark. He doesn't flinch as this has happened many times before. he stares back at his reflection but noticed something different, those eyes weren’t his own, they were pale blue eyes as those of the stranger. He's heart beat raised, as his watch ticked and he had the feeling of a hand going up his shoulder. He closed his eyes to pray, at that moment his neck felt a gentle breeze. He felt another hand reaching his pocket and pulling his knife out, as he heard the watch ticking near the end. The light came back on just in time for him to stare back at the mirror to notice it was his own hand pulling the knife closer and closer to his neck.

dimitri email
Dear Mr. Dimitri
Its a pleasure to talk to you, I'm in need of your assistance in regards to the office the company is looking for.
We're planning to open our new premises in Moscow, just a couple of people will work there so they only require a small, yet modern office. The office should be divided into a couple of sections, one for the reception and the other for attending the clients. Also, the office should be near St.Petersburg and reflect the sense of security our investors expect from us.
Kurt insists on paying a fee for your help.
Dear regards,
Gerardo G. Garzafox
