As the night reached twilight the detective questioned his actions on the the event that had just taken place. He heard his watch ticking as he stared at the pale blue eyes of the stranger as if they were trying to tell him something, but dead men tell no tales. He took one last look at those eyes before closing them and picking up the body of his fresh victim. The detective had felt goosebumps on his way to dispose of the body in a lake near his house. Once inside his home he went up the stairs into the bathroom to clean his hands. There he stared at his reflection in the mirror, when out of nowhere the house goes dark. He doesn't flinch as this has happened many times before. he stares back at his reflection but noticed something different, those eyes weren’t his own, they were pale blue eyes as those of the stranger. He's heart beat raised, as his watch ticked and he had the feeling of a hand going up his shoulder. He closed his eyes to pray, at that moment his neck felt a gentle breeze. He felt another hand reaching his pocket and pulling his knife out, as he heard the watch ticking near the end. The light came back on just in time for him to stare back at the mirror to notice it was his own hand pulling the knife closer and closer to his neck.
